Good service by everyone but Thomas was our server and he went above and beyond. The steak was so soft and tasty(I am not a steak person) and did enjoy it. Cheese potato was delicious and the corn on the cob. Enjoyed the blackberry spritz! Nice setting very relaxing and soft music playing went well.

You only have the option to order skirt steak, literally the only meat on the menu which I'm totally okay with because it was VERY GOOD!! I recommend asking for the fries to be well done if you like them a little crispy, and the zucchini was probably the best I've ever had at a restaurant. It had little cheese grated on top and matched perfectly with the steak. Service was a little slow and almost non existent at times.

Like everybody else, I went here because of all the hype surrounding this place. I thought it was unlimited steak, but it turns out that it's unlimited fries. Oops! My friend and I went on a Tuesday night before a concert at MSG and there was no wait. We were seated immediately in their chic restaurant. It was cool that one of the seats was a wide bench so it was nice and spacious. We, obviously got the $45 steak dinner. It took awhile for the steak to come out, but my friend and I were super happy with the steak, which was cooked and tasted perfectly. We ordered it medium (thank goodness we didn't get it rare) and it was perfect. We normally eat our steak medium rare so we were a bit hesitant that the choices were rare, medium, and well-done. So, we were glad that the steak came out medium-rare perfectly. Greedily, we thought it would've been cool if the steaks were unlimited, but we were so full from that one steak . The unlimited fries option sounds appealing, but how much fries can one eat? I'd rather have unlimited steak, especially if cooked perfectly. They also give you unlimited warm bread and butter and that was really good. Even though our food took awhile to come out, the servers checked in several times. We were too full to have dessert, but all the dessert looked so good, along with their cocktails. The dessert cart experience is unique but it really gets in the way of trying to go around the restaurant or trying to go to the bathroom or even inconvenient for the waiters/waitresses. Would I go back again? Maybe if I'm in the area and if there is no wait? I wouldn't go out of my way to go here. Tips: -We tried calling the numbers listed on their website and on Yelp to see how long the wait was, but it didn't work at that time. So, I don't know how reliable their phone number is. -It seemed like they were waiting for us to finish our salad before giving us our steak, so we had to tell them that we were saving our salads for the steak and then eventually the steak came out. -Meat doneness is by rare, medium, and well-done. And, as I mentioned above, if you get medium, it will come out medium rare. -All the desserts looked really good, so make sure to leave room for dessert. Bathroom: If you are standing at the entrance, facing the restaurant inside, it is in the back left corner. There is a sink outside for just washing your hands.

When I first heard about Skirt Steak, this is around the time when it had hugeeee hype on social media. So when my friends and I planned to go, we had no idea that the line would be literally down the block. We had waited about 1-1.5 hours to get inside, since it was about 5 or 6 of us. It's a very casual set up in there. We got the deal where you get unlimited fries and steak. The steak? amazingggg, especially the sauce that came with it. The fries were nice and crispy. We also had the garlic bread that they offered as extra. The salad that came w the unlimited fries and steak wasn't really my cup of tea. It was a big piece of lettuce w a dressing that was more on the bitter side. Keep in mind, they're good at marketing for people to buy more than what they planned to get so it's a bit pricey. However, the experience of how good that steak & sauce is definitely worth it.

This is a viral NYC steakhouse with a fixed menu that is $45 per person, which isn't bad but it used to be cheaper before the restaurant gained popularity. The starter salad was a mix of greens only, no cucumbers or other but the freshness was there and vinaigrette was tasty. The french fries were crispy, thin and perfectly salted. The steak was juicy BUT I wish there was more of a char on the outside and it was hotter in temperature. The chimichurri sauce with the steak was not really flavorful or spicy. The zucchini was delicious and very hot, this was surprisingly a hit. The strawberry mint soda was tasty but needed more flavor, good presentation though. Overall good experience!

Came here as an afternoon lunch with my girlfriend If you are the type that usually has trouble picking what to eat from menu, this is the place for you. This restaurant has a pre fixed menu which consist of salad, steak, and unlimited fries. You also have the option to add other items but the food pre fixed menu would be fulfilling enough. The steak was of high quality and the fries were so yummy that we asked for extra refills. Be warned, this place can give you food coma throughout the rest of the day.

For $45 you get a delicious and well-cooked skirt steak, salad, and unlimited fries. While I know this used to be $28 in 2020, I think it's still worth it and a good meal! The steak was cooked perfectly - medium as I requested and was very juicy and tender. The sauce it came with was also really tasty. The fries are shoestring cut and are very light and crispy, but airy at the same time. The salad was also really good and refreshing! You also get complimentary bread and butter with the pre-fixe. We also got Iced Tea, which is not in the pictures, but you can get it sweet or unsweet. It was a wonderful iced tea. The service was very quick and everyone was friendly and attentive. Theres a bar area and lots of tables for big groups too. I tried another restaurant in Midtown called Legasea that does AYCE steak, fries, and salad for $45 and while Skirt Steak does not refill the steak or salad, I thought in terms of meat, this steak was much better and would prefer this one over the one at Legasea.
